Sweet Hour of Prayer

Sweet Hour of Prayer (acapella). This 19th century hymn began as a poem by William Walford circa 1845. Eventually it was set to music by William Bradbury around 1861. We like it because it’s a peaceful invitation to step back from “seasons of distress and grief” for a “Sweet Hour of Prayer.” And yes, we sang it in a bathtub. Acoustics.
