The Traveler
Dandruff, mirror neurons, folk music. Must be Old Timey Tuesdays! Today’s song, The Traveler, was first published in 1868 although the tune is most likely far older. It’s a Sacred Harp piece (108b, if you’re nasty) that features that classic open sound we love so much. She’s Folks likes to explore the idea of “home” and just what that might mean, especially to those of us that wandered away. The Traveler explores the dark side of that journey. Here’s Betsy, Tyler and Alex with their spin.
