She's Folks!

Based out of Chicago, Elizabeth Morgan’s She’s Folks! is a little bit country, a little bit rock ‘n’ roll, a little bit stand-up and a lot Midwestern. Journey from the city to farm country and back again through folk music, gospel, bluegrass and storytelling.

With a relaxed stage presence and storytelling style, Morgan and her band introduce the audience to quirky characters, absurd situations, and touching observations.

The music of She’s Folks! includes original pieces by creator, Elizabeth Morgan, along with arrangements of traditional folk and bluegrass tunes, and selected covers of country music. We include an exciting gospel medley as well as a cappella pieces with impressive harmonies.

She’s Folks! has heart, soul and a goat story. It’s a love letter to the country from a kid who couldn’t wait to leave.

“Home isn’t the place, it’s the folks.”
